No Phone Socket in Property

My broadband was supposed to go live on 11th, and the engineer has finished the visit. However we didn't find a phone socket in my property, so I was told by the engineer that the installation could not be done. So I wonder is there anyway to set up the broadband without a phone socket or is there anything i can do about the situation? I only need the internet so both TV and phone do not matter to me.

I am quite worried because the monthly charge has already applied but I still don't have my internet working.

The best option is to call the broadband team and explain the situation.

My gut is another visit by OpenReach will be required to install the socket.
