No 5.1 sound on entertainment but is on movies

I have the boost package and a sonos surround sound system.  When I watch entertainment, I.e. discovery of witches is stereo 2 0  BUT when I watch a film its 5.1

How can this be and how do I solve it?

What device are you using to watch Now TV. As I understand there is an issue with 5.1 on certain devices.

Sony KD48A9 TV.  Its an android TV and this is a pre-installed app and using a sonos arc, sub and 2 x sonos one's for the surround system.

Have you tried to delete and reinstall the app?

So I can think of 2 more suggestions before suggesting that you need to speak with Live chat.

1. Turn off your router for a few minutes and turn it back on 

2. Set the TV back to factory settings, it is very extreme but is usually best for resolving issues with Now TV
