Earlier in the year they said that NOW TV were going to be rolling out 1080p streaming to all channels by the end of the year. It’s gone the end of the year now so any word on when this is happening? Currently 720p on my big flat screen TV is just about tolerable and for the price of the Sky Sports month pass, 720p doesn’t justify the cost, so it would nice if they could give us an update. Any word on this?

I heard Now TV have not so long ago finally announced it is coming. Anyone have any ideas when it likely will be, and how you think the possibility of a Now TV + might come into it. Maybe there will be a premium charge for it? What are you guys’ opinions?

@Anonymous User it has been widely discussed on the forum about 1080p on Now TV.

However there are no official words from Sky apart from

That being said, with the impending agreement with BT and that Now TV will be on BT TV, as well as BT sports being available to Sky for selling. This deal kicks off in time for the new football season.
So I suspect we will hopefully see 1080p around the same time, as well as other big much needed improvements.
