Hi there, I just went live yesterday after waiting 2 weeks - only to see the news of NOW having a major outage in multiple exchanges. I have no connection still. Located in the M14 Rusholme area.
Would this be considered a delay in my service going live? Any compensation? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and wait/call NOW?
Cheers

No worries, it seems your issue is unrelated. And yes you should be entitled to automatic compensation from the agreed go live date until they manage to connect you at a daily rate of £5.25:
Hi there,
Sadly not, although I did speak with NOW customer service this morning around 10am. The advisor ran some checks and took me through the technical line check to book an engineer as there was a fault found (plugging into the test socket also didn't help). The perfect storm really, but what can you do.
Thanks anyways.
