Recently I have been having a problem with my router dropping the internet connection, the problem is not with the line as testing has ruled this out. Rebooting the router fixes it so I logged a call with NOWTV tech support.
Their official advice is that the NOWTV router can only support 10 connected devices at any time and I should disconnect devices I'm not using.
I currently have 5 Alexa's, 6 Smart Plugs,1 Doorbell camera, along with 2 other camera's and 3 Smart TV's.
When you add in mobile phones and laptops (which i need as i work from home full time) it's suprising anything works at all 🤔.
I am currently investigating a 3rd party router/modem that works with NOWTV Broadband as the equipment they supply is obviously not fit for purpose.
Any recommendations for a replacement router that can support a minimum of 25 devices ?

10 devices on a modern router is ridiculous. (and I'm sure it is capable of much more)
However it is not a very good router so any DSL TP-link or ASUS should perform better, and still be compatible with NOW.

Theres a report on here saying that the limit may even be as low as 4, yes four.
before you know it we wil be back onto usb modems and the return of the alcatel Frog, complete with a windows 98 driver disc on CD rom and floppy
One thing to note though, is that not any old router* will work, if you want a single box to replace the now router then you will need to make sure it supports option 61 or/aka MER log ins
And for that you will need to look at the relevant support pages for each manufacturer. - a sarch of this forum for own router should also yeald results.
*Router, this relfers to an all in one box with a phone line in jack wifi and ethernet ports consisting of ( amongst a few other bits) a modem, router, wifi access point, firewall etc.
