NOW TV app crashing on iPad when I click on one show

Hi,

I’m facing a weird issue. For the past three days, the app has been crashing but only when I click on “The Good Doctor” (which is what I’m binging at the moment). Any other movie or show I click on, it works fine. As soon as I click on this specific show, the app crashes. I can only watch it live, which is annoying as my internet connection in my room is not strong enough, I’ve restarted my iPad, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing. Anyone any thoughts?

Not sure why watching Live or on demand would be better for your internet connection. Have you tried to download the episode?

Try starting it from a different browser - Chrome say, instead of Safari.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Hey! I've been having the same problem whenever I click on "Manifest" ... This is incredibly frustrating!

Thanks all, I've found a workaround for now at least - it seems that if I search for the show, the path is different and it works fine when I click on the results. It's just when I click on the show on the app's home screen and on my list that the app misbehaves. I'm downloading episodes through the search function.
