Moved in 10 days ago and 2 BT engineers later, I still have no interenet. Can I join another ISP?

Hi all. I moved into my new home on 7th and the internet was due to go live that day. However, I wasn't connected. Since then, I have had 2 BT engineers come out and both tell me that the issue is with NOW/SKY. I have "dial tone and sync" but there is no session on the line. I have told NOW customer services this, but the caller admitted it was an issue a little over their head. They told me to wait 72 hours. This was Friday.

I am pretty ###### off and had enough of waiting. I live in an area with poor phone signal, so I have spent most of the last week hanging out the window

Can I just sign up with a new provider and send my NOW equipment back?

Thanks

@alexsings

So NOW fully rely on OpenReach setting up and maintaining the network. You could always try to go with another provider, but unless its Virgin you could be in the same position.

Keep calling the support team to see if they will "call" your bluff.

OW Broadband customers can get in touch anytime between 8am–11pm.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thanks @gavs82008

BT were adamant that it was a permissions issue with SKY and that they had done all they could!
