Just looking for some help. Broadband went live today around 2pm. Was due an engineer visit from BT but received a text saying the appointment had been completed. Fair enough, maybe they just needed to flick a switch at the cabinet.
Got to around 5 and still no internet so called up and was just told that it could take up to midnight. Anyway it’s now 9pm and I’ve tested the master phone socket and nothing. Doesn’t work either when removing the face plate and using the test socket so guessing it’s not going to work at all.
Guess my question is 1) has anyone else had this issue? 2) will NowTV or BT come out and solve the issue? 3) Surely BT should have come and checked this today otherwise what’s the point of the appointment?
I’m due back in work on Wednesday for the NHS and desperately need my Internet up and running in time.
