We have issues with the wiring for our TV and/or WiFi. When our WiFi router is close to the television cables, we lose a lot of TV signal (e.g. to BBC channels). We also don't think we are getting the speeds on the WiFi we should be getting and the WiFi signal does not extend to the whole house (this may just require a booster).
The phone cable wiring to the master phone socket is exposed and looks old. We suspect that this might be some or all of the problem. There does not appear to be any issues with our TV aerial and we do not use satellite television.

Call the broadband team for NOW to arrange for an OpenReach engineer to fix it. Number in the below link.

As for the broadband speed this could be fixed by splitting the Wi-Fi signals.

For Wi-Fi coverage, NOW don’t supply boosters so this will have to come out your own pocket.

If your router affects your TV signal, you also have a problem with your TV cabling.
Get at least the cable that goes into the TV replaced with one that uses satellite grade cable; and maybe your TV cabling will need checking all the way up to the aerial, if this is of a similar vintage to your phone cabling.
