Issues with broadband

I’ve had months of the internet either not working at all or working at incredibly slow speeds. We’ve had numerous engineers out and it seems to be ok for a short while afterwards and then it’s back to not working again. Has anyone else had similar issues? I’m not sure if BT OpenReach are just trying to avoid spending money digging up the road and replacing bits of their kit but I’m sick and tired of paying for a service that I’m not receiving.
