Internet keeps dropping/Router problem

Has there been a recent firmware update for NOW routers? My router did a restart (red light) as I was using my PC the other night, so I assume Sky/Now pushed through an update. Since then my router has had the most unstable internet connection I've ever experienced. In the past 24hours or so...I think the router has dropped out.....I reckon I've seen that middle flashing amber light 20-30 times?.. So I'm wondering if a recent firmware update is FUBAR. The telephone line still works when the net goes down, so it must be router level issue right?

Are the drop outs over Wi-fi or ethernet? If it’s the former you should try splitting the bands.

Have you tried a factory reset to the router?

Otherwise give the broadband team a call, there might be other things going on causing it. See link below for the number.

I'm seeing the same issue currently and it started at a similar time, just put in a complaint ticket to get it looked at. 

At lot of this in the support log on the modem:

Did you ever find out what the problem was mate? Having almost the exaxt same issue with currently. Had about 4 engineers out and they all say the line is pretty good. No clue what is going on...

Have you tried another router? As I understand the NOW router isn't the best.

I've tried 2 different nowtv routers, not yet tried a 3rd party router. Surely the nowtv router cant be that bad where its just losing complete connection multiple times a day? I feel like their would be more uproar if that was the case lol. But you may be right and maybe it is something I should look into. Just waiting to hear back from the "technical team" lmao. Surely the 6th time they look into it will be the one!!!!
