Internet down in Benfleet Essex. Called and recorded message says they are aware of problems in several areas and engineers are working on it.

Same here in Tunbridge Wells, it has been down since 6:30pm with no sign of it being fixed

Hi @Anonymous User

I would be tempted to switch the power off to your Router and TV by unplugging it at the mains outlet for a minute, restart the Router (give it 5 minutes where hopefully the three green lights will show again, then switch back on your television).

Thanks I'll give it a try

Hi @Anonymous User

No guarantee it will work, but worth a try.

Mine seems to go off and on every night after 8pm. Can't call them then either to moan. Very frustrating, assumed that was what was happening again. But it has been down since 7 here! Nightmares.

Every night? That must be so frustrating! Ours was awful for months but had no issues since they upgraded our router…no issues until now of course 😂

Thanks. However, they should have a live update on their website for all to see.

Agreed, they're going to burn out their customer service getting everyone to call, when it could just be a simple update thread 🤷‍♀️

So i got through to them after a little hold time and they advised it is actually a BT outage that is affecting the whole UK but mainly to the south in the Weald areas, BT are working to fix and have only given a rough window of 24-48 hours for the fix. Mine has come back in Tunbridge Wells but still nervous it may go again.

@Lou87

Indeed, something that broadband NOW customers HAVE to bare in mind, is that the broadband is supplied by BT/OpenReach as we use their network. So if something goes out, then it's up to OpenReach to sort out.

Remember we pay NOWTV not OPENREACH so in my view it's not good enough for for nowtv to pass to the buck. As a customer of NOWTV I expect THEM to fix what ever problems they have. You take my money YOU SORT SORT IT

This is a customer forum, directing the statement "YOU" will have zero power for what you are trying to do.

And yes NOW supply you the internet, however ITS NETWORK is OWNED by OpenReach and not NOW. So they HAVE to RELY on OpenReach to fix it.

At best NOW can provide discounts/refunds.

Also its not Now TV anymore, it dropped the TV part of the name from March. It is just called NOW.
