I received a text saying my installation has been postponed but with no further dates. It directs me to a page that has no information in it, say I don’t have any orders. A BT engineer has just turned up unannounced wanting to test my line. As I am working from home today this isn’t possible. I’ve already cancelled my current contract and need my broadband sorted. There’s no email address anywhere to get in touch. I’m have serious second thoughts if I’m having issues already.

If you were/are on another FTTC supplier, you really shouldn't do that. Let the gaining supplier handle it or you risk extended downtime.
