Installation delay

My engineer installation was August 9th and I am still without internet to this date.  I was told there was an issue with the outside cable box (a reason I’ve seen pop up a few times on the forum...) and they would send another engineer out that day. I was told I would hear by 6pm that day, which I didn’t and when I called was told I’d need to wait 72 hours. On Tuesday 13th I received a generic message saying ‘there is a problem, we will be in touch Monday 19th august’. Needless to say I’ve still had no communication despite numerous attempts from myself on the web chat and phone-line. According to my orders page, my internet is up and running? To make matters worse I have been charged for the privilege of this great service! Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you actually get through on the phone to speak to someone?!
