Incident leaves us with No Broadband

Do we just sit it out or is there anything we can do to see what the issue is or when its likely to be resolved?

Partner is unable to do any working from home today.

Broadband is bouncing on/off...in the gaps the Security cameras kick in and I can see guys in orange dayglow outfits running up and down road with spools of cables etc...looks like the issue is with hardwear.
