I'm not getting the speeds that I'm paying for? I have 'fab fibre' broadband, but only 10mbps DL?

I have Now TV 'fab fibre' which promises download speeds of up to 38mbps. Currently I'm getting nowhere near that and it's rather frustrating! Current max download speed is 10mbps upload is 10mbps also.

So far I have tried:

--> calling and going through trouble shooting steps:

--> changing wireless channel

--> using a different router

--> plugging directly into the router

--> using multiple devices (speed is same across all devices)

--> changing the now tv hub to a new now tv hub

--> logging into the router admin page and checking line speed - it's at 40mbps??

But wifi output and wired output is 10mbps.

Any suggestions please and thanks!?

Hi if you just recently installed fibre then something called DLM is being applied to your broadband connection.

It may take up to 10 days for your final line speed.

Do not reset or unplug your router during the 1st 10 days to ensure that optimum speed is obtained.

If after 10 days there is no change, report the fault to them then.
