How to set up landline

Hi, I have free landline calls as part of my package and so decided to get landline phones, which I now have. I plugged them into the telephone line and the phones are on, but nothing happens. 

This is the first time I've had a phone line. Am I missing something here?

This could be due to several things.

 

I would advise you to call Now Broadband as per line 1 of my sig below, and let them go through this with you.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
