I have started renting a new property with my girlfriend, we were due to have an engineer show up on Monday the 27th but one could not get here due to the engineer getting ill.
I then received a text to reschedule for the Wednesday the 1st of December, i took a day off work for this and once again no engineer showed up but this time I had no text or call to let me know so I waited in all day.
I have tried to get in contact with NOW's helpline to reschedule for a new set up appointment but I just got told that someone will contact me within 72 hours.
Are these kind of customer services issues a regular occurrence with NOW?
How do I go about setting up another engineer visit because at the moment I am in the dark.

When I was a broadband customer with NOW I never had any issues.
Best to call the team until it is resolved.

Is this for a new broadband install? You won't necessarily get an engineer visit the property.
