How do mesh routers connect to the main now router? Cables?

How does a mesh router connect to the main NOW Broadband router? Via the Ethernet ports? Wirelessly?

Hi,

 

I just bought a Tenda MW3 it works well with the NOWTV router. You connect one node to the router with the supplied network cable from the Tenda box. Then put the other nodes around your house which all connect over wireless.

 

For the Tenda MW3 at least you need to switch the Ethernet port speed setting on the NOWTV router to fast ethernet from gigabit (with the MW5 and above I believe these work on gigabit so no need to touch this setting). Then turn off the NOWTV wireless on 2.4 and 5 Ghz and use the tenda app on your phone to setup the tenda units.
