Tried to remove safesearch in both bing and google, but it keeps reverting back to 'strict' level.

Perhaps this is the reason why.

Where the default setting is PG13 from memory and you won't be able to change it unless you are the NowTV account holder and know the NowTV Broadband login name and password used when you setup the NowTV Broadband account.
