How do I order a microfilter for phone line?

Hi, my phone line hasn't been working for months. It rings out but not in. Searching through nowtv help I've discovered that we don't have a microfilter, one was never installed. How do I order one? Presumably and engineer should come and fix this? Thanks

Look on Amazon, for instance, for “microfilter for phone”. Lots available. No engineer needed, you just unplug your phone and broadband, plug in the microfilter, and plug the phone and broad band into it. You’ll probably  need one for each phone socket, depending on how any extensions are wired.

Of course, if you have a split-face master socket with the broadband and phone plugged into their own sockets, then you don’t need any microfilters as the split-face master socket has one built in.

There is a common fault known as one leg broken. This can cause the phone not to ring, without affecting broadband. If you report a phone fault, without mentioning broadband, Now will get Ofcom to investigate.
