Is the middle light on your hub lit?

How did you learn there is an outage?

It it’s general in your area, then Openreach will be working on it, and your broadband will come back when everybody else’s does.

But if it’s just you, then you had better let Now Broadband know, so they can look at it. Call 150 from a phone on your landline, or one of

0330 041 2518, 0330 041 2462, 0330 332 3050, 0800 759 1213, 0330 041 2473

from a mobile.

For the moment, you could perhaps introduce your kids to the joys of the Freeview children’s’ channels via TV - though they may have to get used to getting what is given, which is a bit of a culture shock after On Demand - or use your phone as a WiFi hotspot to restore broadband to your home during the outage. Though watch out for those data charges, unless you have a really generous data plan.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
