Hiya I'm supposed to have engineer today but had message saying good news you don't have to be home you'll be live by midnight. Now engineer just messaged me saying there's no TAM at my exchange so i cannot connect. What's happening do i still plug my router in and wait for 3green lights. Engineer said he's step 11 and step 9 isn't done yet. I'm lost

Not sure what "TAM" means. Although if your go live is today and you are told you don't need an engineer, there is no harm in setting it up yourself.

TAM
Test Access Matrix. A device to test problems in a DSL and POTS system. It can do a look in and a look out test to determine problems in the system.
But not having one of those doesn’t look like it would be an issue, unless your line doesn’t work anyway, and he has nothing to diagnose the issue with.

Yeah my lines not connected yet either. He said he's stage 11 and stage 9 not done yet so he's unable to do anything.
