Frequent disconnections

My broadband went live last week and over the weekend I have had numerous disconnections…about 15 yesterday, all for about 20 seconds.  I rang support who said there were no line faults but did say he could see 20 or so devices connected which may be an issue.  Is this the case…..have I bought into a broadband supplier from the 1990’s?  If you shouldn’t have more than 20 devices why do the routers come with a class C DHCP scope?  Never had the problem with other providers.

Perform a factory reset to the router this should sort things out.

I’ve not had any more drop outs since my chat with them yesterday so will see how it goes and try the reset if it happens again.

I’m more concerned about this statement from them that 20 connected devices is too many…..WTF is that about?
