Freeview Channels on NOWTV Smart box

Hi

 

Ive just moved house and the cables in my new house are satellite so don’t fit in the back of my NOWTV smart box to get live channels - I’ve tried an adaptor on the satellite cable to make it the right end but it still says not channels found’ 

 

Can NOWTV boxes pick up Satellite channels? Only trying to get normal BBC, IT , Channel 4 etc. 

Any help welcome - worked fine in my old house however was plug into an Aerial there.

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

A satellite dish will not work over Freeview where you need a TV aerial (either fixed or you may get away with a portable indoor aerial depending on the Freeview coverage in your area).

 

No guarantee that a portable aerial will work mind.

Forgot to mention if you are only looking at the main basic Freeview channels such has BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

 

Then the BBC iPlayer App, ITV Hub App and All 4 App on your NowTV box will offer live channels via the internet.
