Extend lease on router external IP address

Can someone tell me if there's a way of extending the lease on my Router's external IP address, so it won't change if the router reboots or is powered off for a short time.

Hey Sam

If you are a Now TV broadband customer then do the following:

1) Go to the green banner at the top of this screen and click My Account.

2) Click on option Broadband & calls, there should be a phone number you can call.
