Everything is playing faster than usual

I was watching sopranos and noticed the intro sounded way faster and this goes for every single thing on now tv including movies etc and it’s very annoying, anyone else got this issue

What device are you using?

You tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

It’s on my PS4 and also my phone too, It’s not actually 1.5x speed but it’s still noticeable that it’s faster than usual and yes I’ve deleted the app on both devices and reinstalled and it’s still there @gavs82008

Have you tried unplugging your router for a few minutes?

What's the content like if you use your mobile data?

Tried both and it’s still the same, don’t have a clue what the reason is it’s always been like that and seems unfixable @gavs82008

@Anonymous User I'm going to assume that most of the shows you're watching are American shows. If they are, have a read of this link

The subject comes up here regularly. You'll also notice a difference in run times from the one on Now and other services or Google.

Some people are more susceptible to the change in sound/playback speed, others aren't. I fall into the latter category.

@Saint1976 - thank you so much for clearing that up.  I do suffer with thing likes this winding me up sadly!!  I was watching it on UK terrestrial channel that I recorded it on before which would explain why I didn't have the same problem.  Anyway - at lease I know I am not going mad!
