Engineer no show and no definite day for another appointment for the installation

I waited a whole day for the engineer to come and setup my line on the appointment day, which was 22 March 2022, just to know that no one would show up.

 

Today is 24 March and the telephone service could not give me any answers to how this issue will be resolved and no solution on another appointment date or time.

 

This is a complete new internet installation as I have just moved to this property from outside the UK.

I have office work to do and despite of so many calls there is no proper answer.

 

I just want to know, when will I have internet?

You will need to pursue this directly with customer services, call 0800 759 1213. Openreach seem to have a lot of delays at the moment. The only comfort I can offer is that you will be entitled to automatic compensation for the missed engineer and delay in go live date.

Do you have a standard BT/Openreach phone line in the property, or are are you needing one installed?

Did the previous occupants have broadband? Was it Virgin?
