Hello,

After the intervention of the Openreach engineer (subcontractor), the download speed increased to an average of 50 Mbps.

I would like to thank the NOW/SKY team for the reactivity and the quality of the intervention.🥇‌‌👍

Best regards.

How long have you been a customer for?

Have you tried doing a factory reset to the router?

Are these speeds over Ethernet or Wi-Fi?

I subscribed a Super Fibre Plan in April.

Yes, I reset the modem to the factory values.

The speeds are equivalent or WiFi or on Ethernet.

In the general parameters, I found this mysterious line:

Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps):10000’ ???

Is this a deliberate modem limitation?

Is the modem intended for Brilliant Broadband Plan only (11 Mbs)?

On the NOW Web Site, the technical checks says: 'Your download speed
looks good ... 10Mbps'! 💣

I am a pensioner abd just had the 10mgs thinking it would be enough for me taking into account the cost too,  Now tv have boosted my speed from 3 - 7 mgs twice now but it keeps going back down to 3 and causing problems so will contact BT as can get that for £15 a month and get up to 37mgs , fed up with constant problems.

The up to 10Mbs service is ADSL, Now can do nothing about the speed as that is dictated by the distance from the exchange. Is the BT offer one of the "social" packages? (for people on benefits)

You can get the speed increased , I’ve had open reach come out twice and found no problems in the house but have said speed is really slow then contacted the exchange to rectify but it does go back down after a while.
Yes the BT deal is for people in low incomes so I would qualify being a state pensioner

I'm a state pensioner, but I don't qualify.
