Does new Nowtv 1080p work on both Roku streaming stick AND Roku streaming stick plus?

Hi, I see in the news that the new 1080p upgrade works with Roku streaming stick! Does it work with Roku streaming stick plus also?

Roku Stick Plus & Roku Express definitely supports 1080p 5.1 surround sound with the Boost Pass, plus i would have thought the new Roku Premier will also be supported.

 

Not sure about the older Roku 3 (though the hardware is virtually identical to the nowtv black box).

 

Should you have the older Purple Roku Stick then i doubt it very much.
