Do i need a new line?

Setting up Now BB and need to book an engineer to come put a new line in, however their is already a line in the property I'm moving too.

Does he still need to put a line in? or will he just come to set up the box?

If there is a working BT/Openreach socket in the new property, you may not need an engineer to visit, they can do the necessary work at the cabinet.

The Now router is "self install", but sometimes the engineer will visit to confirm all is working with an "end to end" test.
