Connection after moving home

Openreach engineer visited 04-05 AM as promised but was unable to complete setting up our boardband (something about underground connection not available). Another engineer was due to visit later in the day but then cancelled. Next day still without Broadband and no idea if anyone is coming to finish the job. Both engineers say it's been passed back to Openreach to resolve. Called NOW and they cannot tell us when someone will be coming just that we're on the list. Openreach order page says to contact your service provider. It seems we have to rejoin the queue as Openreach sent someone not able to setup the broadband. Makes life difficult trying to work from home. What do I do next!?
