Can NOW broadband HUB be dispatched sooner than date stated because I wont be home to accept and set it up for activation day? Im going to be away for two weeks and so i cant set the HUB up on activation day (10th May) BUT now the HUB is estimated to be delivered the day after I leave. Today is May 1st cant it be dispatched quicker?

I asked the same question when i was moving to Now, and unfortunately the answer was no.
Setting it up is no more than just plugging it in.
My switchover was simple , and it happened overnight.
I used the same router that i was using with my previous supplier, and on the evening before it was due to switch i just entered the details for Now into the routers config , it dropped the connection to plusnet as soon as it the new details were saved and picked up the connection to now and connected without an issue when Now was activated .
What equipment/router are you currently using?
