Can I change my go live date after sign up

I've contacted Now to ask this but they can't be bothered to reply - so I am unsure about whether to continue but I simply want to know if I can change my go live date for broadband after I sign up?

 

It seems to dictate your go live date when you are going through the sign up process but I work from home some days a week and can't afford for any downtime, so I need to pick and choose a date. I am looking to move the date into the future, not ask it to be sooner. 

 

Has anyone else asked for the date to be changed after they have signed up, if so how did they do it and was it successful?

 

I am with BT at the moment so it won't need an engineer visit and will just take over my current Openreach maintained line.

Hi @banksman 

 

I don't think there is anything you can do about it and the live activation date is usually fixed at 14 days from sign up (if no BT Openreach Engineer is required for a Home visit).

 

NOW are not the only ISP that works to this 14 days turn around.
