Broadband

I am on the social tariff but when I move to another room reception goes right down and my printer which is upstairs won't connect. It is a wi fi printer.

Try splitting the bands indicated in the below link. This might (key word might) help, but it should be more benefit to speed.

However you have to be aware and you are finding out first hand the Wi-fi reach of the NOW router is very poor. So your best to source another router or Wi-Fi extenders as NOW won't provide any, all they will provide is the router.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Just to comment that being on a social tariff makes no difference to the range of your WiFi.

This is determined by the Now router, and everybody gets the same router from Now as standard.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
