Broadband showing as Amazon.

I've just done a speed test. My provider has always shown as Sky but is now showing as Amazon. I don't have Now TV  only Now Broadband.and I don't subscribe to Amazon Prime. Is this normal?

Hi @PDM

Are you using a VPN or third party DNS on your Laptop?

Perhaps do a Google search where I did find a couple of results about what you are seeing.

@PDM

First time I’ve heard of that. Have you done more speed tests since?
What happens after a router reset?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Hi @PDM

Use this website link tool below to confirm who your Internet provider is.

It should say Sky if you are on NOW Broadband.

Don't worry if it shows a different city or area around the UK if it doesn't match where you are based.

Thanks schnapps. Used the link and it shows as Sky.

Speedtest was Ookla. Odd that it shows as Sky when I tried  my tablet but Amazon on laptop. Just running a full Noton scan.

Thanks. I checked and VPN was on, I recently used my laptop in an eating establishment with free WiFi and must have forgotten to turn it off . It has returned to showing Sky.
