Broadband is in "We're getting it ready" for more than 24h

Does anyone know when should broadband start working after router installation? I had engineer visit yesterday, but there is still no internet, and in NOW account status is "We're getting it ready".

Anyone know who (and how) can I contact to solve this?




Have you got three green lights on your router, or just two?

When is your activation date? Activation can take place any time up to midnight that day, so only worry the next morning,

And connection is a two-stage (at least) process; the Openreach engineer makes it possible for Now to serve you broadband, by connecting up the cabling, but the next stage is that Now will need to turn your broadband on.

However, if this is the morning after your activation date, and your router still has only two green lights, then get back in touch with the Now Broadband team, via the phone number they have given you, to see what is happening. 

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
