Broadband installation

Dear friends

I am a new user, my kit was just delivered now.

I noticed there is no master phone socket in it. What do I do?

The master phone socket is important in the setup I assume.
Can you kindly advice please

The go live date will not be the same as the delivery date of your router. As it tends to arrive a few days before.

You need to call the broadband team who will arrange for an OpenReach engineer to come out. There is nothing we can do on here as we are just customers like you.

If your property needs a master phone socket, the Openreach engineer should bring it, and wire it in.

It is possible that Now and/or Openreach already know this, and will act accordingly, or it is possible that they don’t.

To ensure that they know it, and are going to come prepared, ring the Broadband team on the number that @gavs82008 quotes above, and ask them if they are aware that a Master Socket will be needed.

If they already know, great; if not, well, now you have told them.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
