Broadband fault.

Hi all, I’m new to this so be gentle 😂. Our broadband has been getting worse and worse for months but we just put up with it blaming it on the weather. 7 days ago it was 1.2 reading on the tracking thingy it does and now it’s 0.3 which is non existent and to top it off our 4G is hit and miss which is strange 🤔, but anyhoo managed to get onto Now Broadband and because open reach do not work weekends they take it from the next working day and I was promised 24/48 turn around! I’ve rang again and it’s booked in for today at its now 16.22pm and they clock off at 6pm and it’s already getting dark so we can wipe another day off the waiting list! Apparently open reach need a specialist engineer as the fault code is CE - now am I being silly or do all open reach engineers do the same thing or do they only have 1 specialist expert to change the wiring if that’s needed! I’m not stupid nor have mug stamped on my forehead but all working people these days take on at least 3 members workload to cut costs etc so what makes open reach engineers special??!!! Our internet works our  lighting and many other things in our house, so bring out more candles but thank god for blue ray dvd’s and the avengers my husband has on dvd 😂

You are perfectly entitled to have a rant!

Sadly, NOW do not respond to posts on here, you are simply amongst a group of fellow customers. So you need to keep onto them directly, at the end of the day they are reliant on the dreaded Openreach I'm afraid.
