I have a google cloud printer (by Brother) which works fine with NowTV broadband... unless the Broadband Buddy is activated, in which case the printer shows up as "offline" in my list of google cloud printers. The printer needs to talk to a server somewhere in cloud-land so clearly broadband buddy is interupting either the outgoing or incoming link. FWIW, I've not had this problem with other ISPs: their web filters played nice with cloud print.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I could play with the firewall settings on my router, but is this likely to help given that everything works fine with broadband buddy off?
