Broadband arrived a week ago and is still not working!

My broadband was supposed to activated on August 31, but the internet light on middle of the broadband never comes on which means I spent the whole week without internet. The engineer booked never arrived. Even though I make phone call everyday, but no one gives me a real solution! I can't even see my order in order&appointment now. The worst thing is that the payment was made on the 3rd of September!

By the way, My hub is never detected when I run the tests described on the website. When i When I enter the 192.168.0.1 all I see is disconnect.

Not much I can suggest to be honest, apart from, keeping pestering the broadband team until you get an answer. 

Could be a fault with OpenReach not setting things up properly.
