Book an Engineer

Hi - Can anyone tell me how I can book an engineers visit, without phoning NOW.

I don't believe you can, NowTV uses Openreach to fix their issues and there's no way to contact them yourself. In addition when you call they'll do a few checks to see if it's a problem that can be fixed yourself or if an engineer is required.

 

Good luck actually getting the engineer to go though, 3rd week of no working Internet and I've now had 2 scheduled dates and they haven't gone on either. I'd call, see what they say and just cancel because the service is terrible

That being said, as mentioned by @DanielRC you are best to call the broadband team for a faster response.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Always state your problem, never what you imagine the solution might be.

It’s also wise to choose a moniker that will work for other issues you might have in the future 😛

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.
