@Lynda64

You could give the broadband team a call to see what can be done.

  • Give us a call on 08007591213 to speak directly to a NOW TV advisor.

Hi Lynda & Gavs

Nuisance calls, especially the scam ones from India, are notoriously difficult to block, unless someone has recently invented something new.

You see, those Indian scam calls are made with spoof phone numbers, i.e. fake British numbers, which constantly change whenever they are blocked. And unfortunately, no one has invented a device that can predict which phone numbers the scammers are next going to use and block it.

However, there are phone devices available that will block unknown callers, i.e. "call blockers" that will block calls from numbers you have not programmed into it's memory, you can get these devices from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=phone+call+blocker&i=electronics&dc&ref=a9_sc_1

I do have an in-law that has one of these devices and she is quite happy with it, the only problem is when you get an unexpected call that you want, say from a distant relative, but the number is not in your call blocker's memory and so the call is blocked.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Re: Block nuisance calls

Thank you for your help. I have taken the option of the good old fashioned way and using my handset to block the numbers.
