Awful connectivity

Jesus wept, I made a huge mistake. They say you get what you pay for… and this is cheap for a reason!! Work away a lot. Signed up with this lot. Got back home. Live in the middle of nowhere. Was with BT previously. Excellent service, just got too expensive. Wi-Fi from Now/Sky router is practically zero. Internet connection is bad at best. Customer services are quite frankly laughable. Desperate to get out of contract. Wouldn’t go near this lot if my life depended on it…..

Are you still within the cooling off period?

If so, you can walk away penalty- free.

Even after that, though, if Now can’t give you the service you were guaranteed within 30 days of a formal complaint, you can likewise walk away.

If you are locked in, though, at least look at getting a decent VDSL modem/router to replace the Now Point-Of-Sale one; ensure it supports MER 61.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Assuming you were on FTTC with BT, the internet connection should be no different, if it is, there must be a fault.

The Wi-Fi however is not good from the Now router, so as @RoyB says, look into getting your own router.

@Hackedoff101

Assuming you bought the same speed that is, on the same FTTC service.

Sorry, yes, I was assuming that. 😉
