Activation Date missed twice

Our activation date was meant to be the 17th of July, but was delayed. They told us it would be up and running by the 8th before midnight, called them today to chase up when it wasn't activated by 5pm, they said it's on track. But it's the 9th now and we've got nothing! Any tips?

NOW fully rely on OpenReach, so could be an issue at their end. Have a read at this for some consolation.

Just keep calling broadband support until your happy.

Now indeed may rely on Openreach, but they have a 72-hour SLA with them. The broadband should have been up and running by the 20th, 21st July at the latest.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
