I am trying to use the YouView app to watch IPL cricket. It generally works ok but at peak times (eg just now at Saturday football half time) the stream stops and I get the 4 ball buffering screen. More often than not I then get an error page and have to keep trying to restart the stream. I have a nowtv stick, and the app on the iPad, and all of these work ok during periods of the YouView app failure. It can’t therefore be my internet connection. Who is responsible here, YouView (Bt) or NowTV ?
I just signed up for the yearly season pass because the YouView app would make watching much easier. If the app is always going to fail like this then I’ll be looking to cancel.
