Watch Youtube through Now TV smart stick in non-EU countries

Hi all,

 

I know streaming Now TV pass videos abroad might not be supported in non-EU.

Just wondering can I watch Youtube(My app) through smart stick in these non-EU countries?

Prefer not to use VPN though.

I have extracted this information on the nowtv help article whilst in the EU (not sure what the YouTube geographical restrictions are in non EU territories).

 

 

You can still enjoy many of the apps on your NOW TV Box or Smart Stick when travelling in the countries listed above, including Netflix, YouTube and Vevo.

However NOW TV is not responsible for catch up apps like BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and Demand 5. These apps might not work outside the UK.

 

Perhaps somebody on the forum who is currently away in a non EU country or have used the YouTube App when outside the EU can confirm either way when using the nowtv stick whilst travelling ?
