Unable to watch TV programmes on Samsung TV but can view Movies

Hi 

I have just subscribed to NowTv. I can watch GoT on my laptop, buffering problems though. But I can't view any TV programmes via the App on the Samsung TV.  Instead I have movies, Genres, My Movies but no TV channels!  How can I fix this and watch GoT on the telly?!

It's sounds to me that you are trying to watch the NowTV app on a separate YouView box ?

If that's the case, due to YouView rights restrictions, you will only be able to watch on demand movies and there is no option on the YouView box app for entertainment, kids or sports passes.

If you are definitely using the NowTV app straight from your Samsung Smart TV can you provide the model number of the television please.

This is the model. I am a new subscriber.

So I assume that I won't be able to view entertainment shows on my TV as I have YouView to access NowTV?

My internet provider is BT telecom.

If you are using a YouView box to access the NOW TV service then no. 

Unfortunately the BT/YouView devices only support the 'Cinema' on-demand service, they don't permit access to NOW TV's Entertainment or Sports services.

Unfortunately, if you are using the NowTV app from your BT YouView box then you are restricted to movies only sorry.
