Trying to get NowTV on a 2011 LG Smart TV

Hello,

 

I have a March 2011 LG TV, model 42LW550T.

 

It has the lastest software download and I have updated the apps, but Now TV isn't there.

 

I know NowTV was originally included with newer models, but is there any way to get it onto my tv?

 

I currently use NowTV on my iphone, but was hoping to watch Game of Thrones on the tv...

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

If the NowTV App is not available to download in your 2011 LG smart TV Apps Store, then i reckon your TV is not supported using the native inbuilt NowTV App.

 

The cheapest way to add nowtv so you can watch on your TV would be a NowTV stick where i am assuming your TV has a spare HDMI port to connect to the stick.

 

You can currently pick up a NowTV stick with a 2 month bundled pass from places like Argos, Curry's etc for £15.
