Support for Philips smart TVs

When is support running NOW App on Philips smart TVs going to be released?  I have a 2021 Philips 43PUS8546/12 model which runs Android R, with the latest update (TPM211EA_101.000.178.222).  The Google App store on the TV has nearly all popular UK streaming apps available, except NOW TV.

I know it is possible to cast the NOW app to the TV, but I want the native app for browsing on the TV itself.  If the app is available on other brand Android TVs, I would think it shouldn't be too hard to make available on Philips?

It isn’t available on ‘other Android TVs’, only on Sony models, and we think Sony paid for that.

Your best bet is a Roku Express or Amazon Firestick that will give you Now on your TV for £20-£50, and likely other apps you might want and haven’t got, besides.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
